Meet our Teachers

Wendy Steeves

Wendy Steeves is the owner and operator of Paintin’ Place.  Not only does she keep the studio running smoothly and makes sure all her customers’ needs are met, she also teaches several classes a week, and as time allows, she loves to design!.  Wendy teaches Beginner Opens, weekly opens as well as project classes each session.  Her greatest pleasure is watching her students develop their painting skills and seeing the joy that comes with their growing confidence.  Wendy loves to keep abreast of the new mediums and what they can do for us. She is always on the lookout for new techniques to expand her students’ knowledge and abilities.

 

Peggy Peterson

Peggy started out as a student at The Paintin' Place and has now moved on to teaching.  She has taught several classes in a variety of styles as well as some of her own designs.  She likes to try different styles that may be new to our students.  Peggy loves seeing the reaction of her students when their project suddenly comes to life.

 

Susanne Lamoureux

Suzanne has her Bachelor of Arts and Education degrees and has been teaching Fine Arts for a number of years.  She is also a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America and teaches students that range in age from 12 to 75.  We are please to have Suzanne join our team at The Paintin' Place and believe that she will bring a whole new range of knowledge to our studio.
