Class Information
Open Classes:
Paintin’ Place offers open classes for all levels of painters. We have both afternoon and evening classes. In the open classes students choose whatever project they wish to work on and the instructor is there to help them. Each student may be working on a different project – some may be things they were working on at home and need some help
to finish and some may be a completely new technique or style that the student wants to tackle but wants some assistance with. Our instructors are well qualified to assist with all styles of painting in many mediums and a variety of different techniques.
Project Classes:
Three times a year – in Jan., May & Sept., - Paintin’ Place holds an Open House, at which time we unveil all the project classes being offered in the upcoming session. We try very hard to offer projects for a variety of skill levels on different surfaces, using different techniques. We are always looking for new and creative mediums to teach our
students.
Beginner Classes:
We offer a new concept for beginners at Paintin’ Place. Our Beginner classes are on-going. You may start classes on any Tuesday evening. Beginners can start with our established
Beginner Sampler Project or choose another simple project with the guidance of the instructor. The cost of the Beginner session includes 6 weeks of instruction and a supply
kit. After your six week instruction is completed, you may continue the Beginner Opens in six week sessions or on a drop in basis. The beginner opens offer more individual guidance than the intermediate opens.
